Agro Pastoral Charity Organization (APCO) is a local non-governmental, non-profit making organization. APCO was established in 1998 by the local community and group of intellectuals where there was an active UN agency or international NGOs in central Somalia. APCO was formally known as AGRO PASTORAL CHARITY CENTER (APCC) in early years, but after activity expansion, APCC becomes AGRO PASTORAL CHARITY ORGANIZATION (APCO) both names are widely used by our partners and communities. APCO has its headquarters in Mogadishu and Dhusamareb cities and mainly operates in South Central Somalia. To effectively facilitate its work, APCO has several operational offices in both Finland and Somalia that are necessary considering the challenges of its operational context.
