RAADE Group is an independent, indigenous; Somalia based research institution that specializes in research and offers Third Party Monitoring and Evaluation services to project implementing agencies and donors to ensure that informed decisions are made. The organization aims at providing innovative ways to ensure that projects make holistic improvement and impact through providing quality monitoring and evaluation process that includes quantitative and qualitative research methods. RAADE Group was established in 2014 to assess projects/programs funded by the Somali Stability Fund (SSF). As the need for Somalia based research institutions grow, RAADE Group decided to extend its services to other clients. Today, RAADE Group boasts a clientele base that include Swedish International Development Cooperation (SIDA), Adam Smith International (ASI), UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Danish Demining Group (DDG), Danish Refugee Council (DRC) among others. RAADE Group offers both short term and long-term services, services that go beyond just service delivery, but it also advises its clients on the most suitable and cost effective methodologies of implementing projects to ensure that optimum impact is achieved. RAADE Group has worked in all the regions in Somalia including rural villages where there are no reliable and sufficient information collected before. Doing business differently by ensuring that the views of the people that matter most are heard is what RAADE prides itself with. To ensure that quality data is collected, and empower local higher learning institutions, RAADE partnered with regional universities and higher learning local institutions. This partnership offers not only an opportunity for the students to acquire research skills, but also creates local acceptability and instills confidence in the local residents hence making them more open in sharing information.
